Template Geek Series

Hiya there friends.  I know I mentioned a kit in the works along with other CU products...well life got a hold of me and I got sick.  ah hem....it was miserable, a whole week of it and it made me unable to complete much online.  So I have been playing make-up all week.  Stupid sickness...LOL.

Ah yes, I do have the LDS Blog Train coming up on June 1st, and can I just say...my portion is HUGE!  I went overboard and threw in way tooooo many goodies - but it's all good.

Now, so I wanted to start sharing templates, cuz if you're like me you're addicted to them.  So I whipped this up this afternoon so you'd have something to keep you busy until I get something else posted.  Hence my new template series TEMPLATE GEEK.  Too cute, huh?  Be prepared for more volumes coming in the next few weeks and months.  For now, here's your first in the series. (P.S., don't ya love the pink glasses by my designer tag?  Hee hee, it's supposed to be cuz I'm a geek...hahaha).  Hugs, Andi

{CU} Taggies Set 1

Hiya.  I hope you've all had a fabulous wonderful weekend.  We had a great weekend.  Saturday we took the kids out shooting rifles...boy what a fun experience for them.  I snapped a ton of pics and will share them another time and also scrap with those pics for sure.

I know some disagree with having guns in the home...I for one am scared to death - but I believe in protecting my family.  Anyway, we took the kiddos shooting 22's and we also had a 12 Gage.  My 6 yr old sat on my hubs lap and shot it...only once...and then he was done with that gun.  It gave quite a kick back and boy was he not going to shoot that gun again.  The 22 was a blast...literally.  They had so much fun and between all that were there we ran through 200 rounds (for the 22) in about 2 hrs.  Others brought their guns too - we were very safe and it was a great teaching moment as each child took turns with their Daddy(s) learning about guns and gun safety.

Today I've been working on some Tags or "Taggies" as I like to call them.  I have my first set ready for you to download.  Now, I don't know about you, but I love taggies for my scrapbook kits.  They create such a fun addition to help with placing dates, text, journaling, etc.  so I made a set of 10 for you to have for your stash, or to use in your Digi business.  They are free for you to use for CU/PU etc.  No credit required, but truly appreciated.

Oh, and I'll be back this week sometime with more CU goodies, but I've also been working on a fun PU kit so make sure you stop in soon.  Or, follow me on FB to stay in touch.  Enjoy.  Hugs, Andi

CU Squared Masks

Hiya there.  Can you believe I'm posting 2 days in a row.  Whew, who knew, right?  I've been busy this morning working on some fun CU Masks for you to use.  I'm on a few CT's and I can always use some blended masks.  What I did was just blend around the edges ever so slightly - and then I typed in some simple words using the font "June Bug" in all caps.  I've included a sample in the preview page, but I'll also include it so you can zoom in to check it out.  See how the edges are slightly blended.  Pretty awesome, eh?

Ok, so if you're a newbie, how do you use these Masks?  You may ask?  Well, when I was first learning Photo Shop Elements, I searched and searched the web for free online tutorials and I found this amazing site called The Graphic Reporter - she has since changed the site name to Photo Lesa.  Anyway, Here's a link using her site for creating a layer mask as I have done using the masks I've included or you can use my tutorial on my Hot Pink Pansy blog.  Both should help you.  And, if all else fails, email me HERE and I'll work you through it if I can.

You may use this in your CU/designer business or for Personal Use as well.  These are free for you and no credit is required but truly appreciated.    Hugs, Andi

Color Pop Kit

Hey friends, how are you doing?  I hope you're all fabulous!  I've missed creating for you and I hope to get to designing more fun CU and PU items for you soon.  I've been lacking in the idea department so I'm searching and planning and gathering my creative resources.  Plus I just purchased PSE 10 and guess what?  I tried to use my pen tablet to draw some fun little doodles, and they didn't have the weird jaggedy lines like my PSE 7 did - so I'll be able to create some better drawings!  Can I just say how happy I am.  It's awesome.  Now maybe I can work on going from Amateur doodler to advanced doodler...LOL.

Ok, here is the kit I created for a Color Pop Challenge over at Gotta Pixel.  The challenge was fun - each person had to create their own kit to create their own LO.  We were given a color palette and that was it.  Since I created the kit using my CU stash, thought I'd share it with you.  This kit is free for personal use - not for Commercial Use.  As you can see, some of the papers on my LO are a little different than the ones included in this kit - but hey, I did my best...hee hee.  Hope you enjoy this kit.

Here's the LO I created for the challenge,

LDS Blog Train - "Forget Me Not"

Hi Friends, hope you are doing wonderful!  I can't believe we're already in April.  Wasn't General Conference amazing yesterday and today is my favorite part to listen and soak up and learn all I can.  I even take notes.  I hope you are enjoying G.C. too.

Today I have my portion of the LDS Blog Train.  I love this theme, which has come from a talk by President Dieter F. Uchtdorf. I loved this talk and I always feel so inspired to hear our Prophet, his Counselors, and the 12 Apostles and others when they speak.  This talk was a favorite and I know Melia was inspired to add this to our theme for the month.

Here is a Slideshow of what you'll get as you visit the train:

If you're following the blog train, you've just come from: My Digi Chocolate
If you get lost along the way, please visit the LDS Blog Train to grab the full list of designers.  Your next stop along the route is:  Jensen Motley Crew Designs

{CU} Chevron Paper 1

Hi there everyone, hope you are doing wonderful.  I didn't get to post last week due to having a bit of a cold - it seems my cute little family and I like to take turns getting sick and it just wouldn't be right if we have it all at once...LOL. Grumpiness, fevers, colds, runny noses, you name it - thank heaven for Prayer.

Today I have a fun Chevron paper for you to use to create your Digital papers - I love the chevron pattern and hope you'll find some use for it.  Remember for now, all my CU downloads are also available for PU/S4H/S4O - no credit required but super appreciated.

Also, I'll have a new Springy/Easter kit coming out soon - and make sure to come back on April 1st for my portion of the LDS Blog Train - you won't wanna miss it.  Thanks for visiting my blog.   Hugs, Andi

{CU} Doodle Leaf Paper

Hi there everyone, I hope you've had a wonderful week.  I have been busy with family and personal life.  My daughter, Lou Lou, is in 5th grade and had the chance to do the science fair.  Oh dear, what a drama queen.  We finally made it through though, so I'm able to get to designing a few more things for you.

I've got to run to the school and see the actual science fair, but wanted to get this posted before I left.  And remember this is for CU/PU, no credit required but greatly appreciated.  Hope you all have a great day.  Hugs, Andi
